Getting started
What is Wendily?
Wendily is where your trip itineraries live. You talk about a trip with an AI agent you already use - planning one, or recapping one you just took - and the agent writes it into Wendily as a day-by-day itinerary you can open, share, and take with you.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Wendily runs in your browser, and connecting an agent is a single link you paste into the agent you already use. There is no new app to learn and no forms to fill.
Which AI agents work with Wendily?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and many more - Wendily speaks plain OpenAPI, so any agent that can call a tool can write your itinerary. If your agent can read an OpenAPI spec, it works with Wendily.
How do I sign in?
With your email address and a magic link - we email you a sign-in link each time. There are no passwords to create or remember.
Connecting your agent
How do I connect an agent?
Open the app, create a connection, and paste the link it gives you into your agent. From then on, when you talk about a trip, the agent can write it straight into your Wendily account. That is the whole setup.
I lost my connection key. Can you recover it?
No - the key is shown once, when you create the connection, and we store only a cryptographic hash of it. If you lose it, disconnect that connection and create a new one. It only takes a moment.
Can I connect more than one agent?
Yes, and we recommend it: give each agent its own connection so you can disconnect one without affecting the others. Each connection has a name, so you can tell them apart in the app.
How do I disconnect an agent?
Disconnect the connection in the app. Its key stops working immediately, and the agent can no longer read or write your trips. Your itineraries stay exactly where they are.
Is it safe to paste the connection link into my agent?
The link carries a private key that lets the agent act on your account, so treat it like a password: paste it into the agent you trust, and nowhere public. If a key ever leaks, disconnect that connection and the key is dead.
Trips and sharing
How do I share a trip?
Invite people by email from the trip. Viewers can see the itinerary and the other collaborators; editors can also change it. We send each person an email with a link to the trip.
What can the people I invite see?
Everything on the trip - days, places, notes, and also booking references and private links, which is why those are only ever shown to you and your collaborators, never made public. The one exception is travel progress: stops you mark as visited are private to you, and collaborators see only their own.
Can I edit the itinerary myself, without the agent?
Yes. The agent writes the itinerary as you talk, but the trip is yours - you and your editors can change anything in the app.
Can I use Wendily while travelling?
That is what it is for. Open the app on your phone and the itinerary is there, day by day, with a map and your saved places, ready wherever the trip takes you.
Account and data
How is my data handled?
We store what your agent sends and show it back to you and the people you share with - nothing more surprising than that. The full picture, including what we collect and the choices you have, is in our privacy policy.
How do I delete my account?
Write to team@wendily.com and we will delete it. If you want to keep your trips, export them first - we are happy to help with that too.
Troubleshooting
My agent says it cannot reach Wendily.
First check the connection in the app: is it still active, and is the link pasted into the agent exactly as shown? Each agent configures tools a little differently, so it is worth re-adding the connection from scratch. If it still will not connect, write to team@wendily.com with the agent you are using.
The agent wrote to the wrong trip, or made a mess.
Tell it - agents are good at cleaning up after themselves when asked, and every operation they can perform is also available to them for fixing things. You can always edit or delete items yourself in the app.
Where are the API docs?
At wendily.com/docs/api. Every itinerary can be created and edited over a documented REST API, described by an OpenAPI spec your agent can load directly as a tool definition.
Ready to try it?
Connect your agent once and talk about your next trip. The itinerary will be waiting for you.
